History of ABXY Linux
ABXY Linux began development in September 2015. Development of KBXY Linux, an ABXY Linux variant with the KDE Plasma desktop, ABXY Linux Server, an ABXY Linux variant for servers, and ABXY Linux, KBXY Linux, and ABXY Linux Server 64-bit edition all began development on November 10th.
ABXY Linux 2, based on openSUSE 42.1 Leap, started development on November 10th. The other ABXY Linux variants that started on this date are 13.2 based. KBXY Linux 2 and ABXY Linux Server 2 are also planned. Sadly, due to openSUSE 42.1 issues, ABXY Linux 2 will not be available on 32-bit PCs. We are making ABXY Linux for Legacy PCs, a continuation of ABXY Linux 1.x, to keep 32-bit PCs running ABXY Linux.
The planned release dates are November 15th for ABXY Linux, November 28th for KBXY, ABXY Linux Server, and the three distribution's 64-bit editions, and December 15th for ABXY Linux 2, and December 20th for KBXY Linux 2, ABXY Linux Server 2, and ABXY Linux for Legacy PCs.
